NH Climate Action Plan Annual Progress Review 2010 released! More Info

About the Collaborative
The Collaborative was formed to track and facilitate the implementation of the 67 recommendations of the 2008 NH Climate Action Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the future while providing significant economic opportunities across the state.  The Collaborative is in effect “the keepers of the NH Climate Action Plan”.

Collaborative activities include identifying implementing partners who are or could be taking action, developing an inventory of progress against the 67 Climate Action Plan recommendations, working to remove barriers to their implementation, and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

Collaborative Speakers Bureau

The NH Energy and Climate Collaborative and Clean Air – Cool Planet are working together to provide presentations to the public on the NH Climate Action Plan.  These presentations explain what the Plan means to New Hampshire residents and businesses.

The NH Climate Change Action Plan represents the thinking and recommendations of one of the largest, most diverse collections of leading New Hampshire citizens in many years.  We have secured the involvement of a number of people who can speak to local organizations about energy and climate change.  Our speakers include members of the Governor’s Climate Change Policy Task Force, who authored the Plan, as well as members of the NH Energy and Climate Collaborative, which has formed to facilitate the implementation of the Plan’s recommendations.

The Speakers discuss the local impacts of climate change, the local solutions already being developed to change how we consume energy, and solutions that need to occur regionally and nationally.  Speakers Bureau presentations communicate how everyone – in and out of government – can play a part in the Climate Action Plan and secure a high quality of life here in New Hampshire.
